Brooks Trail Running Film Fest

Trail running is all about challenge, nature, and perseverance — elements that also translate into powerful cinematic storytelling.

Film Fest Vaes presents the Brooks Trail Running Film Festival, featuring films that capture the beauty and intensity of running through rugged landscapes, while inviting visitors to explore the trails themselves. Through trail running initiatives and inspiring screenings, the connection between sport, nature, and film truly comes to life.

Visitors can purchase a ticket for the film program, but those who want to stretch their legs beforehand are welcome to join a social run of approximately one hour across the estate. These runs are guided by Maastricht Running Tours and Thomas Hounjet, offering a great opportunity to experience the spirit of trail running before the films begin.
